No one else by Lee Seung Chul

In the Q & A portion of JOVE 59 volume 4 Jo Hyun Jae revealed that he likes singing songs by Kim Dong Ryul and Lee Seung Chul.  I have already made a post featuring Kim Dong Ryul here (click at this link), so this time I am featuring Lee Seung Chul with his song No One Else.

No One Else is the theme song for the movie A Story Sadder than Sadness which starred Lee Bo Young and Kwon Sang Woo. I did not watch the movie because just by the title alone I know that it is going to be a sob-fest.

As much as possible I stay away from uber melodramatic fares because I don’t like crying while watching (gives me migraine).  The only times I would be brave enough to watch a melodrama would be when my favourites are in it … our Jo Hyun Jae of course, and Robert de Niro.

In any case, the beautifully-made JHJ MV above uses Lee Seung Chul’s No One Else as background music – such a beautiful song!  Check out the lyrics below – first is the Hangeul and Romanized (for those who wants to sing along) versions; and then the English translation.
