Out of all the scenes in “Yongpal”, Jo Hyun Jae picked the scene where President Go died as the most memorable scene.
On this day Jo Hyun Jae said, “Personally, I was very pleased when President Go died.” When he said this it made people burst into laughter.
Jo Hyun Jae explained, “Life can be so empty sometimes. I think the gentleman that played President Go expressed the feelings for that very nicely.”
Jo Hyun Jae revealed the reason why he liked the scene of President Go’s death so much. “Didn’t President Go feel the shock and emptiness when he received the letter from his son? Since it’s a drama it was portrayed in an extreme fashion, but something like this can actually happen to ordinary people and the actor expressed those feelings very well. It was a very intense scene,” he said by way of giving an overall explanation.
Editor: President Go was played by veteran actor Jang Kwang.
I agree with Hyunjae, it was indeed a good scene.
Hyunjae doesn’t talk a lot, but when he does he reveals just how deeply he feels and thinks about life.
